How Allyship is Expressed

Allyship can be expressed in multiple ways: grieving victims of systemic racism, and recognizing the physical and social violence inflicted upon the BIPOC community. Verbal art creators also emphasize the importance of remaining hopeful, and standing in solidarity with marginalized folks through various actions—one of which includes understanding the difference between performative and genuine allyship.
